The weather outside is frightful, and this clip is just delightful. Tony winners Alan Cumming and Kinky Boots composer Cyndi Lauper dropped by The Colbert Report on December 17 to join the host in singing the holiday favorite “Let It Snow.” Wearing a particularly ugly Santa sweater, funnyman Colbert started the sketch with a prayer to the “Emmy gods” to win another award, and then was surprised by Cumming and Lauper (who co-starred in a 2006 Broadway revival of The Threepenny Opera) for an amusing rendition of the Christmas hit, complete with harmonies and sleigh bells. Check out how much fun these three have getting into the holiday spirit.
